Frequently Asked Questions
Below are the most common questions we receive about arrive and drive rentals or our endurance races. Please contact us if you don't find the answer to your question below.
01
What should I wear?
It is very important to wear something comfortable. We will supply the driving suits, gloves and helmets for your protection. Closed toe shoes are also a must. Have your own driving suit or helmet? Feel free to bring it!
Are you open 7 days a week?
Unfortunately our schedule is dependant on track availibilty, so the dates listed on our arrive and drive schedule are the only dates we will be at the track. We do offer private parties for groups of at least 10 people subject to track availibilty.
02
How old do you have to be to race?
We have rental karts available for children as young as 5 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must provide a copy of their birth certificate to serve as proof of age per NJ State Law. Additionally, the Minor Participant Guardian Form must be completed and provided to the track.

04
How much track time will I get?
Track time will vary depending on the number of racers, but typically sessions last 8 minutes with 2-3 sessions run per hour from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm. Arrive and drive racers alternative practice sessions with Raceway Park club racers, so there is a break after each session.
05
Can I bring my own kart to the endurance race?
Every team in our endurance races utilize our 4 stroke rental karts in order to provide a level playing field. Karts are chosen by each team randomly on race day.
06
How much race time do you get in an endurance race?
Our endurance races are 4 hours in length and each team typically consists of 4 drivers. Each driver will do a 15 minute stint each hour for the entire race. Our race officials will signal the team/driver as to when it is time for a driver change. It is up to the teams to decide the order of their race drivers.
07
Do I have to have four people on my team for an endurance race?
No, you can compete in our endurance races with a team of 2 or 3 drivers. The pricing is based on a team of 4, so the entry fee for each driver would be adjusted accordingly. Note, you will still be required to make a pit stop during the mandatory driver change so as to not gain any advantage over the teams of 4 drivers. If you do a double stint, you can simply get out of the kart in pit lane and get right back in.
